On April 7, 2025, Michelle Zilke became the new Director of Alpha Women's Center.  How did the Lord lead you here?

Our church has always been a supporter of the Alpha Women's Center, and I had been interested in helping out and learning more about the Center, but my kids were much younger then and the timing wasn't right for our family.  After Holly Hickey, the former AWC Director, passed away and Sue Hoppa, former Client Service Director, announced her retirement, the Center wouldn't have anyone there to continue the ministry.  I couldn't stop thinking about the open position, and the Holy Spirit's prompting that this would be God's calling to fill this position.  I am thrilled with my role here at AWC and feel so incredibly blessed to be a part of God's work in the community.
